Slices and Bevels

Furnace glass blowers enjoy a unique advantage in jewelry making that perhaps fusers and flameworkers do not. Through a process of gathering molten glass, glass colors can be layered over a hot clear core or bubble and manipulated to make a cutting blank. This blank can then be sliced at various angles and ground and polished to create differnt "gems".

We are a stand alone building located just BEHIND the beige two-story building at 1430 N. Flores (just south of Fredericksburg/Cypress road). You can see my front door and logo sign from Flores Street but to access the building drive through one of two gates on either side of the two story building and park behind Tembo under the covered parking spots. You can also park in one of the available diagonal spots right on Flores Street and walk through the gates to reach my building.
